Jackson, MO (November 1, 2021) – An auto accident reported in Jackson County left one man injured, according to local law enforcement. Just before 4 p.m., on October 31, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. A. A. Engelhart show that a collision between a 2000 Toyota Avalon and a 2022 Freightliner occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70 in the area just west of Highway F.
The driver of the Toyota, 42-year-old Jacob Bowers, sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to CenterPoint Hospital for care.
At this time, MSHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
