Jefferson, MO (November 23, 2021) – One teen was left injured following a motor vehicle accident in the Jefferson area on Saturday evening. Just after 7:45 p.m., on November 20, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Old Highway 21.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper C. L. Kurtzman show that a 2013 Ford Fiesta and a 2012 Ford Escape collided on the highway just south of Highway M. The crash left both vehicles with severe damage.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 15-year-old female from Barnhart, Missouri, was injured in this accident. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
