Kansas City, MO – Nolan Melichar Injured in Pedestrian Crash on I-29 near Tiffany Springs Parkway

Kansas City, MO (November 6, 2021) – One man was left seriously injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Platte County on Saturday morning. At around 3 a.m., on November 6, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Interstate 29.

Reports from authorities show that a 1995 Pontiac was traveling northbound on Interstate 29 when it struck a 22-year-old male pedestrian just north of Tiffany Springs Parkway.

The pedestrian, identified as Nolan Melichar of Maple Grove, Minnesota, was seriously injured in the accident. He was transported to North Kansas City Hospital where he underwent emergency medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
