Knob Noster, MO – Two Injured in Auto Accident on US-50 near Route D
Knob Noster, MO (November 17, 2021) – Two people were left with injuries following a traffic-related incident in Johnson County on Monday evening, November 15. At around 5:25 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol received the notification that an auto accident took place on US Highway 50.
Reports from MSHP Trooper J. D. Hood show that a 2007 Acura, driven by 35-year-old Lisa Morris, overtook a 2015 Dodge, driven by 40-year-old Caroline Newbill, before crashing into it in the rear.
Morris sustained minor injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene. Newbill was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for the treatment of moderate injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
