Lebanon, MO (November 25, 2021) – One man was left seriously injured following a multi-vehicle truck accident on Monday morning in Laclede County. At around 7:40 a.m., on November 22, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 5.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2019 Kenworth tractor-trailer crossed over the center line and struck a 2013 Toyota Scion, a 2017 Audi SUV, and a 2003 Chevrolet S10 head-on. The truck then came to rest off the side of the road.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 82-year-old Dean Moore, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was airlifted from the scene of the crash to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
