Marion Township, MO (November 28, 2021) – One man was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Cole County. At around 1 p.m., on November 26, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on US Highway 50.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a rear-end collision between a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado occurred on US Highway 50 near Route U. The crash left both vehicles with moderate damage.
The driver of the 2019 Chevrolet, 59-year-old William Drake, was not injured in the accident.
The driver of the 2016 Chevrolet, 81-year-old Victor Lovell, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
