Morehouse, MO (November 11, 2021) – One man was left with serious injuries following a pedestrian accident in New Madrid County on Wednesday morning, November 10.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that 65-year-old Ricky McCain was driving a 2019 Ford F-250 Transit west on US Highway 60 when his vehicle struck a traffic barricade. The impact of the crash pushed the barricade forward, causing it to strike a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, identified as 41-year-old David Tropf of Advance, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries. Tropf was rushed to Southeast Hospital in Cape for emergency medical care.
