Platte City, MO (November 30, 2021) – A woman and child were both left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Platte City on Sunday afternoon, November 28. Just after 3:30 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 29.
Reports from authorities show that a 2010 Hyundai became involved in a collision on Interstate 29 near mile marker 21.6. The crash caused moderate delays in the area after the vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof.
Two people inside the vehicle were injured. A 9-year-old female and 50-year-old Ah Cho were both transported to North Kansas City Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
