Plattin Township, MO (November 11, 2021) – A crash reported in Jefferson County on Wednesday morning took one man’s life and left a second victim injured. Just after 6:20 a.m., on November 10, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 67.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2014 Nissan Altima and a 2016 Dodge 2500 collided on US Highway 67 at the intersection of Papin Road. The crash left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Dodge, 41-year-old Dustin Cain, was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for the treatment of injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, 27-year-old Timothy Woman, sustained fatal injuries. He was declared deceased at the scene by Joachim Plattin ambulance personnel.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
