Rocheport, MO (November 9, 2021) – A traffic-related incident reported in the Rocheport area left one woman injured, according to reports. At around 5:50 p.m., on November 7, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that an accident took place on Interstate 70 that required assistance.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision between a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2021 Volvo VNR Tractor-trailer occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near the on-ramp from Route BB.
The crash caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai, 61-year-old Madeline Hayes, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to University Hospital for care.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
