Scott City, MO – Car Crash with Injuries Reported on I-55 near MM 85.2
Scott City, MO (November 23, 2021) – One woman was left injured as a result of a two-vehicle collision in Scott City on Saturday evening. On November 20, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 55.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that at around 7:50 p.m., a 2015 Subaru Crosstrak crashed into the rear of a 2019 Ford Ecosport on the northbound side of Interstate 55 near mile marker 85.2.
The driver of the Ford, 57-year-old Loretta McCoy, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported by ambulance to St Francis in Cape Girardeau for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
