St Charles, MO (November 20, 2021) – A crash reported in St Charles County on Thursday evening left one woman injured. Just before 5 p.m., on November 18, emergency crews were notified that a crash on Interstate 70 required assistance.
Crews arrived at the scene and located a 2017 Kia Forte, a 2017 Ford Explorer, and a 2015 Nissan Rogue blocking the westbound side of Interstate 70 near Highway 79. Crews secured the areas as they worked to clear vehicles and debris from the scene.
One person involved in the crash was injured. 81-year-old Joy Morrison, who was a passenger in the Nissan, was transported to a local hospital for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
