Categorized as Auto Accidents

St Francois, MO (November 21, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the St Francois area that ended in injuries. At around 6:45 a.m., on November 19, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on US Highway 67.

Reports from authorities show that a 2008 Cadillac CTS, driven by 26-year-old Stephen Lachler, was traveling north on US Highway 67 in the left lane of the highway. At the same time, a 1999 Ford F-250, driven by 57-year-old John Kee, was traveling northbound on the same highway while occupying the right lane.

For unknown reasons, the Cadillac suffered a malfunction that caused the right front of the vehicle to strike the Ford. The impact of the crash then caused the Ford to rotate off the left side of the road and crash into a cable barrier. The vehicle then ran off the road and down an embankment.

Kee sustained moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported to Parkland Health Center in South Farmington for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with John Kee at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Car Accidents in Missouri

Car accidents in the state of Missouri leave tens of thousands of people with injuries each year. Every day, motor vehicle accidents impact the lives of innocent people across our state. In countless instances, victims require emergency medical attention due to their injuries. Although most motorists are careful and are considerate of other motorists sharing the road, we see many accidents take place due to driver error. • Drivers who are speeding
  • Drivers who fail to yield the right of way
