St. Louis, MO (November 9, 2021) – A three-vehicle collision reported in St. Louis on Monday morning ended in injuries, according to local law enforcement. Just before 6 a.m., on November 8, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 270.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2014 Kia Rio was traveling in lane three of westbound Interstate 270 during the morning hours. A 2016 Buick Verano was traveling in lane two of the same roadway while a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling in lane 1. For unknown reasons, the Kia collided with the Chevrolet before crashing into the Buick.
The driver of the Kia, 21-year-old Meishelle Reid, and her passenger, 22-year-old Karry Chambers, were both injured in the accident. The two women were transported to SSM Health Depaul Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Meishelle Reid and Karry Chambers at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
