Washington, MO (December 5, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in Washington County on Friday afternoon, December 3, left one woman injured. At around 1:40 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Highway 8.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox was involved in a crash with a 2008 Jeep Patriot on Highway 8 near the intersection of Jargon Road. The crash left both vehicles with severe damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Jeep, 76-year-old Shirley Gray, was injured in the accident. She was transported to Washington County Memorial for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
