Edina, MO (October 14, 2021) – One woman was left with moderate injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Knox County on Tuesday morning, October 12.
At around 11 a.m., a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 50-year-old Stanley Menges, was traveling east on Oak Street when it became involved in a crash with a 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck after the Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way.
The driver of the Ford, 22-year-old Destiny Smith of Edina, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
Smith was transported to Scotland County Memorial Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
