Fidelity, MO (October 27, 2021) – Two people have lost their lives following a motor vehicle collision in Jasper County late Tuesday evening, October 26.
At around 10:35 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 44.
Reports from authorities show that a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling east on Interstate 44 when it collided with a 2010 Chevrolet HHR just three miles east of Fidelity.
The crash left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. MSHP identified the victims as 58-year-old Janet S Edwards of Sarcoxie, Missouri, and 91-year-old Andrew J Wilson of Neosho, Missouri.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
