Hollister, MO (October 20, 2021) – One woman was left seriously injured following a motor vehicle accident in Taney County on Tuesday morning, October 19.
At around 7:05 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the site of a crash on Missouri Highway 76.
Reports from MSHP Cpl. B. Hall show that a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 59-year-old Robyn Banks, was stopped on Missouri State Highway 76, just two miles east of Hollister.
For unknown reasons, a 2017 Ford F-350, driven by 36-year-old Thomas Phelps, struck the Dodge.
Banks sustained severe injuries in the accident. She was transported by Taney County Ambulance District to Cox Hospital, Branson where she underwent emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
