Kansas City, MO (October 12, 2021) – One man has lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident outside of gate two at the Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday evening. On October 10, the Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to the scene of a crash on Blue Ridge Cutoff.
Reports from authorities show that a 66-year-old male was walking near the area of Blue Ridge Cutoff and East 43rd Street during the halftime of the Chiefs game. As the man attempted to cross the roadway, he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
After landing in the road, the man was struck by a second southbound vehicle.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
