Kansas City, MO (October 25, 2021) – One woman has lost her life following a crash just before midnight on Saturday, October 23.
At approximately 11:57 p.m., on October 23, a 51-year-old female pedestrian traveling in a wheelchair attempted to cross US Highway 40. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a Honda SUV just west of South Hocker Road.
The woman suffered severe injuries in the accident. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, she passed away from her injuries.
