Neosho Township, MO (October 10, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident reported just outside of Neosho Township ended in injuries, according to local law enforcement. At around 5:20 p.m., on October 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Missouri Highway 59.
Reports from authorities show that a 1997 Freightliner pulling a towed unit was traveling on Missouri Highway 59 while being driven by 63-year-old Michael White. For unknown reasons, the Freightliner crashed into the rear of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 35-year-old Kimberly Breuil.
The Freightliner then crossed into the southbound lanes of the highway and struck a 2016 GMC Savana.
The driver of the Savana, 43-year-old Michelle Balman, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Freeman Hospital in Neosho for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
