Parkville, MO (October 21, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a pedestrian accident in the Suburb of Parkville on Saturday evening.
On October 16, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash in the Parkville area.
Reports from the police show that 43-year-old Christopher Burdick was walking in an undisclosed area of Parkville during the evening hours. As Burdick passed through the area, he was struck by a freight train.
Burdick sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
