Springfield, MO (October 27, 2021) – A crash reported just outside of Springfield, Missouri on Tuesday morning, October 26, ended in injuries.

At approximately 11:53 a.m., a 2004 Ford F-150 was making a left turn on US Highway 160 just one-half a mile south of Springfield. For unknown reasons, the Ford became involved in a crash with a 2017 Mazda CX5.

The driver of the Mazda, 67-year-old Marcia Lawson, sustained injuries in the accident. The victim, who is from Springfield, was transported to Mercy Hospital for medical care.

At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.

Our thoughts are with Marcia Lawson. We hope for their full recovery.
