St Johns Township, MO (October 23, 2021) – One woman was transported to a local hospital following a motor vehicle accident in Franklin County on Friday morning, October 22.
At around 6:50 a.m., emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Highway 47. Reports from authorities show that a 1994 Ford Ranger, a 2014 Ford Fusion, and a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 were all traveling south on the southbound side of Missouri State Highway 47.
As the Fords began slowing down, the Dodge crashed into the rear of the Ford Ranger. The impact of the crash sent the Ranger crashing into the rear of the Fusion.
One woman involved in the accident, 57-year-old Christina Selz, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
