St. Louis, MO (October 21, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday evening claimed the life of one person, according to local news sources. At around 8 p.m., on October 18, the St. Louis police were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Hampton Avenue.
Reports from the police show that an unidentified pedestrian was walking in the area of Hampton Avenue and Gravois Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, a vehicle passing through the area struck the pedestrian.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and immediately secured the area.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
