Categorized as Truck Accidents

St. Louis, MO (October 8, 2021) – Three people were hospitalized following a motor vehicle collision in the St. Louis area on Thursday, October 7. At around 9:15 a.m., authorities were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 44.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2010 Chevrolet Express driven by 52-year-old Darren Clinton, was slowing down on Interstate 44 near Bowles Avenue due to congested traffic. 67-year-old Manley Miles, the driver of a 2019 Peterbilt 389, was inattentive while operating their vehicle. As a result, the Peterbilt crashed into the rear-end of the Chevrolet. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to crash into a 2013 Honda Civic, driven by 34-year-old Heather Pryon-Brown.

Clinton and his passenger, 58-year-old David Morris, and Pryor-Brown were all injured in this accident. The three victims were transported to Mercy St. Louis for care.

At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.

Our thoughts are with David Morris, Darren Clinton, and Heather Pryon-Brown.
