Warren, MO (October 27, 2021) – One person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an auto accident in Warren County on Tuesday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., on October 26, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 64-year-old Ray Highley, was attempted to relocate after being involved in a crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 near mile marker 22. At the same time, a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling east behind a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse.
As the Chevrolet Traverse began to slow down, it was rear-ended by the Colorado. The impact of the crash caused the Traverse to crash into the Jeep.
The driver of the Traverse, 41-year-old Pamela Klekamp, was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to Progress West Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Pamela Klekamp. We hope for their full recovery.
