Willard, MO (October 19, 2021) – A man and a teenaged female have lost their lives following a motor vehicle accident in Greene County.
Just after 5 p.m., on October 17, emergency crews were notified that a major collision took place on Farm Road 105.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J. Cleeton show that a collision between a 2007 Mini Cooper and a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse took place on Farm Road 105 just .5-miles north of Willard.
The crash caused totaling damages to both vehicles, requiring them to be towed from the scene by Henry’s Towing of Springfield.
The 17-year-old female driver of the Mini Cooper was declared deceased at the scene due to her injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet, 28-year-old Robert Hicks, was transported to Cox South Hospital where he later passed away.
27-year on Davey Hicks, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, was transported to Mercy Springfield with moderate injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
