Clay Co, MO (September 01, 2021) – On Tuesday, August 31st, a single-vehicle accident in Clay County put a driver and two passengers in the hospital.
The accident took place at about 3:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes of US-69 at the intersection of Cameron Road.
A 2006 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by a 27-year-old female from Savannah, was driving in the lefthand lane of US-69 when it traveled off the lefthand side of the roadway and struck a pole in an attempt to avoid an oncoming vehicle.
Both of the vehicle’s passengers, a 27-year male from Excelsior Springs, and a 53-year-old female from Plattsburg, as well as the driver, all sustained non-critical injuries. They were transported by paramedics to Liberty Hospital.
