Dixon, MO (September 26, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported in Pulaski County claimed the life of 68-year-old Deanna Groves. At around 9:50 a.m., on September 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident on South Ellen Street.
Reports from the MSHP show that 41-year-old Ronald Rollins was driving a 2009 Chrysler Sebring on South Ellen Street. For unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed over the center lane and traveled off the left side of the road.
The vehicle struck a pedestrian before coming to rest off the roadway.
Groves, who was identified as the pedestrian, suffered fatal injuries. Deputy Coroner Rick Smith pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
