Jefferson Township, MO (September 29, 2021) – A man and woman were left injured following a two-vehicle collision in Washington County on Tuesday morning, September 28.

At around 10:20 a.m., a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by 78-year-old Westley Williams, was traveling east on Route E when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 at the intersection of Route CC.

The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the east side of the road.

The driver of the Chevrolet 2500, 30-year-old Bryan Walther, was not injured in the accident.

Both Williams and his passenger, 73-year-old Mary Williams, were both injured in the accident. Both victims were transported via Washington County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Our thoughts are with Mary Williams and Wesley Williams at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
