Joplin, MO (September 11, 2021) – On Friday, September 10th, at about 6:30 p.m, officers from the Joplin Police Department responded to reports of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Main Street and East 34th Street.
The Joplin Fire Department, Joplin Police Department, and METS ambulance all responded.
Reports indicate that a tan-colored passenger car was traveling northbound on Main Street when it collided with a white passenger car driving eastbound on 34th Street. The white car overturned into a ditch on the northeast side of the road.
The male driver of the northbound vehicle was transported by paramedics to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
Rosenberg Towing and Recovery and Comer’s Towing cleared both of the vehicles from the scene. A stop sign on 34th street was knocked down in the accident.
