If you have suffered an injury during a pedestrian accident in Missouri, you will most likely receive a call from the insurance carrier of the driver involved in your accident, wanting to get a recorded statement from you. You are not obligated to indulge them, especially if you have not yet spoken with a personal injury attorney.

It is always a smart move to speak with an attorney before giving any statement to anyone. This is because insurance companies teach their adjusters to ask certain questions worded in such a way as to bring down the value of your claim as much as possible. An experienced Missouri pedestrian accident attorney can stop these adjusters from taking advantage of you.
