Kansas City, MO (September 01, 2021) – A motorcyclist passed away due to injuries he sustained during a collision with another vehicle on Monday, August 30th.
The crash took place at about 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ewing Avenue and Truman Road.
An investigation determined that the motorcyclist was riding westbound when the driver of a Chevrolet sedan that was stopped at a stop sign suddenly pulled out in front of him.
The rider struck the side of the Chevrolet and was ejected from his bike.
The motorcyclist, who has since been identified as 47-year-old Mark Presley, a resident of Raytown, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. He passed away Tuesday morning due to the severity of his injuries.
The 73-year-old male driver of the sedan was unharmed during the collision.
