Kansas City, MO (September 12, 2021) – Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were called to investigate a fatal, two-vehicle accident on Sunday, September 12th.
According to sources, the collision took place at about 2:00 a.m. when a Yamaha motorcycle and a Chevrolet SUV collided near the intersection of Independence Avenue and Kensington Avenue.
An investigation determined the driver of the SUV was attempting to make a lefthand turn across traffic when the crash occurred.
The 28-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene.
