Kansas City, MO (September 09, 2021) – Police officers from the Kansas City Police Department have identified the two people who died in a car accident on Interstate 29 caused by a wrong-way driver.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 6th when a car driven by 60-year-old Oree French, a resident of Kansas City, was going northbound in the southbound lanes of traffic.
His car then crashed head-on into a car driven by 23-year-old Roslyn Esau, also from Kansas City.
Esau died at the scene of the crash.
French was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died a short while later.
