Kansas City, MO – Two Workers Injured in Scaffolding Accident on 14th St near Baltimore Ave
Kansas City, MO (September 29, 2021) – A construction site accident reported in downtown Kansas City sent two workers to a local hospital with injuries. At around 1 p.m., on September 28, the Kansas City Fire Department was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at an incident on 14th Street.
Reports from the KCFD show that two workers were on top of the scaffolding at a building on 14th Street at Baltimore Avenue, which was under construction.
For unknown reasons, the scaffolding detached from the building and toppled over, causing the two workers to fall four stories before landing on the ground.
The workers were rushed to an area hospital for the treatment of traumatic injuries.
