Lincoln County, MO (September 24, 2021) – A 54-year-old man from the Troy area lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening. The victim has been identified as Jeffrey Hamlet.
At around 7:30 p.m., on September 23, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Missouri State highway 47.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a 2012 Ford Econoline van was traveling east on Highway 47. As the van turned left near Ridge Road, it collided with a westbound 2000 Harley Davidson FLSTF.
Hamlett, who was riding the motorcycle, was ejected from his vehicle. Authorities pronounced him deceased at the scene from his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
