Plattin Township, MO – David Smith Injured in Crash at US-67 near Montauk Dr
Plattin Township, MO (September 29, 2021) – Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper M.D. Benson responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 67 that left one person injured on Tuesday morning, September 28.
At around 3:49 a.m., reports came in surrounding a motor vehicle accident that required assistance. Reports show that a 2007 Ford Fusion, driven by 44-year-old David Smith, was stopped on Montauk Drive while preparing to make a left turn onto US Highway 67.
For unknown reasons, the Ford collided with a 1999 Chevrolet Venture, driven by 46-year-old David Phillips.
Smith sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported via Joachim Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
