Princeton, MO (September 21, 2021) – On Tuesday, September 21st, a head-on collision between two vehicles left one woman in serious condition in Mercer County.

At about 10:20 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a two-car accident at the intersection of Route C and Route E, just outside of Princeton.

Sources reported that the crash occurred when a westbound 2017 Chevrolet Spark was attempting to make a lefthand turn when it was struck head-on by an eastbound 2009 Ford F350 pick-up truck being driven by a 54-year-old man from Princeton.

The driver of the Spark, a 74-year-old female from Spickard, sustained serious injuries during the impact. She was airlifted by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
