Smithville, MO – Michael F Orr Killed in Motorcycle Crash on US-169 between Highway KK and 179th St
Smithville, MO (September 29, 2021) – 66-year-old Michael F. Orr of Parkville has lost his life following a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, September 28, which involved three other vehicles.
At around 2:45 p.m., Orr was traveling south on US Highway 169 while using a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle. For unknown reasons, his vehicle collided with a 2019 Ford, which was driven by 51-year-old Justin Farrell of Smithville.
The impact of the crash caused Orr to be ejected. He was then struck by a 2014 Chrysler. The Chrysler then proceeded forward and crashed into a 2018 Mitsubishi.
Orr sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Farrell suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
