St. Louis, MO (September 25, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the St. Louis area on Saturday left 33-year-old Whitney Brooks injured. At around 1:50 a.m., on September 25, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from authorities show that a 2009 Nissan Altima and a 2007 Peterbilt 379 collided on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near Missouri 141.
The incident resulted in moderate delays on the westbound side of the roadway as firefighters and the Missouri State Highway Patrol worked to clear the scene.
Brooks sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis via Pattonville Ambulance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
