Anderson, MO (April 13, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in McDonald County ended in injuries. At around 12:15 p.m., on April 12, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in the area of Route 3.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck was backing up from a private driveway off Route 3 when it struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, 80-year-old Ethel Butts, sustained injuries in the accident. Butts was transported to Freeman West Hospital for emergency care.
