Atchison Township, MO (April 3, 2022) – One man was left with moderate injuries following an auto accident in Harrison County on Saturday evening, April 2. At around 4:30 p.m., authorities were requested on-site at a crash on Route KK.
Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt BR Hilliard indicate that a collision between a 2011 Ford Taurus and a 2012 Hyundai Elantra occurred on Route KK in the area of West 230th Avenue. Both vehicles were left with moderate damage as a result of the collision.
A passenger in the Hyundai, 72-year-old Jorge Benitez, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, Missouri, for care.
At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.
