Billings, MO (April 1, 2022) – Several people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Stone County. Just after 4 p.m. on March 30, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Route A.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander were involved in a collision on Route A in the area of Route AA during the evening hours. The incident left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
A total of four people were injured. EMS transported 40-year-old Christopher Helmin, 30-year-old Xavier Cooke, a 6-year-old male, and a 3-year-old female to Cox Smith Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
