Blue Springs, MO (April 10, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jackson County on Friday evening ended in injuries. Just after 9:50 p.m., on April 8, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from authorities show that a 2002 Kawasaki and a 2003 Ford Thunderbird were involved in an accident on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 just west of Woods Chapel Road.
Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident.
EMS rendered aid to 20-year-old Antonio Tubbs and 62-year-old Jean Fisher on-site before transporting them to CenterPoint for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
