Cape Girardeau, MO (April 29, 2022) – A motorcycle accident reported in the Gordonville area claimed one man’s life. At around 3:10 p.m., on April 26, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of a crash on Highway 25.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between a 1998 Toyota 4Runner and a 2003 Harley Davidson FXD occurred on Highway 25 in the area of Highway K. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews secured the scene to prevent further injuries or damage.
The motorcyclist, 59-year-old Troy Strom, suffered severe injuries in the accident. He was rushed to St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
