Caruthersville, MO (April 6, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Pemiscot sent three people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 11:35 p.m., on April 4, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto wreck on Route C.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2009 Jeep Liberty and a 2012 Nissan Rogue collided on Route U near the intersection of County Road 504. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Three people involved in the accident were injured. Two victims, 80-year-old Graham Barrentine and 67-year-old David McMahon were both transported to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas, for care. The third victim, 75-year-old Adrian Baker, was transported to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti for medical assistance.
