Ellington, MO (April 15, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Ellington area ended in injuries. At around 1:08 a.m., on April 14, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Missouri State Route 106.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado failed to stop at a stop sign near the intersection of Missouri State Route 106 and Main Street. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2001 Mazda Tribute. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported 33-year-old Jonathan Stout and 45-year-old Jeffry Nash to Iron County Memorial Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
