Glenallen, MO (April 1, 2022) – One woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries after a motor vehicle accident in Bollinger County. Just after 8:10 a.m., on March 31, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 51.
Reports from authorities show that a 1997 GMC Jimmy became stranded on the highway just seven miles north of Marble Hill. For unknown reasons, a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina traveling through the area crashed into the GMC.
The driver of the GMC, 45-year-old Christina Morton, sustained injuries in the accident. She was taken to St Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
